Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood won't rule out buying in January.
Sherwood suggested he is unlikely to be busy in the January transfer window, with a strong Spurs squad only suffering at the moment because of injuries.
He said: "The ability is there to do it, if we really need to. The only reason we would look to do it at the moment is because of our crippling injury list.
"What I don't want to do is collect players for three or four weeks and then you end up with them for the rest of the season and two or three years on."
