Tim Sherwood is still looking to offload players who are surplus to requirements at Aston Villa.
Sherwood has made a mass overhaul at Villa Park this summer, by bringing in no less than nine new recruits to the club.
The Villa boss is now happy with the balance in his squad but has insisted that he is still looking to get rid of a couple of players who do not feature in his plans.
The 46-year old told reporters: "There are still some players here who know they can find other clubs. But I think the balance of the squad is getting a lot better. There are some encouraging signs but it's very early days."
It is believed that Kieran Richardson is one of those players set to depart Villa Park with Sunderland showing interest in a return for the 30-year-old.
