Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has reportedly been given until November to turn the club's fortunes around, or risk being sacked.
Villa have just four points from their opening eight Premier League fixtures, which sees them sitting in 18th place on the ladder.
The Daily Mail is reporting Villa chief executive Tom Fox is unhappy with the club's poor start to the season and Sherwood's job could be on the line if Villa do not show any improvement in their next two fixtures against Chelsea and Swansea City.
Brendan Rodgers and David Moyes have both been identified as potential replacements, should Sherwood face the axe.
