Sherwood to make full use of Tottenham squad

Tim Sherwood suggests he will be using the entirety of his Tottenham squad during the hectic Christmas and New Year schedule.

The 44-year old guided the north London club to a much-needed victory in the Premier League, beating Southampton 3-2 on Sunday, to move back to seventh on the table.

After the match, Sherwood told Sky Sports 1 that he was looking to use all of his players to get through the festive period especially after the match-winning two-goal performance of Emmanuel Adebayor who was starting for the first time in the league this season.

"You enjoy when you win. I didn't enjoy the first half," Sherwood said.

"I thought we were poor and didn't keep the ball enough. In the second half, after we had a chat, we took it on and showed what quality players we have.

"Emmanuel has not been playing so it doesn't take much (to inspire him).

"In the second half, they (Adebayor and Roberto Soldado) looked a threat. It's a squad game. They've all got to take their part. There are a lot of games coming thick and fast."
