Tim Sherwood deserves great credit from English fans for his support of new Tottenham sensation Andros Townsend.
The Daily Mail says it's understood coach Sherwood is most responsible for pushing Townsend's claims for a first-team place at White Hart Lane.
Sherwood worked with Townsend while U21 coach before his promotion to Andre Villas-Boas' staff.
