Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood denies they were rejected by Dimitar Berbatov.

Berbatov left Fulham for AS Monaco on deadline day last month.

"Berbatov was never offered to me. The chairman mentioned him but he never said we could definitely get him. He was one of many, many names. I'm not sure if it was ever viable and there was no consideration of any striker because I was totally with what I had got," said Sherwood.
