Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood is convinced he can revive the club's fortunes.
Ex-assistant manager Roy Keane recently described the club as a 'tired brand' but with Sherwood at the helm that has quickly changed.
"In my eyes it is one of the biggest clubs," said Sherwood.
"But it is far better for me with a clean slate at the beginning of next season than this one.
"As much as I would never turn the opportunity down it has been a rollercoaster, up and down and very stressful.
"I don't expect it to be less stressful next season but we will hopefully be going for a different prize.
"When I came it was low in confidence. We've just tried to re-galvanise that, I think we've gone in the right direction.
"It could still all be doom and gloom in a couple of weeks, though. I'm aware of that and players are being told it could all be taken away from them."
