Tottenham caretaker boss Tim Sherwood admits some of their best kids may need to move on.
Sherwood is an expert view on the talent emerging through the ranks and does not feel another spending spree is necessary next month.
"We're not looking to sign any players. They're all good players here," he said.
Sherwood's stance on the seven summer signings is interesting, as youngsters from his development squad were forced out, such as Steven Caulker, sold to Cardiff, and Jake Livermore and Tom Carroll, both loaned out.
'You want to keep them but they can't all stay," he said. "Sometimes the manager and the board need to make a decision to bring in what they perceive to be extra quality and then you have to see how it goes.
"Let's give them time to see if they can adapt because in the end they might be better than the ones mentioned. But, at the moment, you'd have to say there's not much between them."
