Aussie Shane Sherriff has helped Shrewsbury account for Wycombe 7-0 in their Johnstone Paint's Trophy second round clash overnight. Lead by an amazing five goals to record signing Grant Holt, Shrewsbury enhanced their promotion chances from League 2 by overcoming the top of the table side, albeit in a diiferent competition. Sherriff scored with a superb 25-yard chip in the 74th minute to effectively close the game, played at Wycombe's Adams Park. It was the 25-year olds third goal this season.
