Tottenham hero Teddy Sheringham insists Harry Kane is no flash-in-the-pan.
The Spurs centre forward scored 31 goals in all competitions last season.
"When you have the qualities Harry has I'd thoroughly expect him to do exactly what he did last year. I don't think he's a flash in the pan or a one-season wonder.
"I really think he's the real deal and wants to learn and if it doesn't come as easy for him as last year he'll find a way to do it in other ways," said Sheringham to 888sport.com.
Sheringham also encouraged Kane to stay at White Hart Lane.
“He's at where he's at and that's a very sensible decision to take at the moment. He should be honoured still to play for Tottenham - and the way he speaks he is. He's loving every minute of it so he hasn't got eyes for anyone else."
