Teddy Sheringham has been appointed 'attacking coach' at West Ham United.
The Mirror says the ex-Manchester United striker played three seasons at West Ham toward the end of his career.
He scored 30 goals for the Hammers and is looking forward to helping Sam Allardyce's team better their total of 40 in 38 Premier League games last season.
Sheringham said: "I'm buzzing. I've had offers to get back into football but this one seemed right."
