Manchester United legend Teddy Sheringham is delighted seeing Dimitar Berbatov now proving his worth.
Sheringham - who like Berbatov made the move from Tottenham to United - praised the 29-year-old star for displaying great composure and quality against Roy Hodgson's team.
But he told the Sunday Mirror: "It's taken him a little while to understand what playing for Manchester United is all about.
"When I joined, Fergie said to me, 'You won't believe what it's like to play for United'. Being who I am, I said, 'Sure, don't worry, no problem'. But I soon discovered how right he was.
"It is very hard to comprehend unless you've actually played for the club.
"Everyone wants to beat you more than anyone else. Every game you have 11 players trying their nuts off to beat you.
"I would not want to give Berbatov advice after he's spent more than two years there.
"But I am delighted he has brought some magic into English football. Everybody wants to see a bit of magic. He is a top player. And he is now proving this in top games against top opponents."
