Former Newcastle United chairman Freddy Shepherd says current owner Mike Ashley needs to accept Kevin Keegan's demands and reinstate him as manager immediately. Shepherd, subjected to protests himself throughout his turbulent reign, weighed in last night by advising Ashley to "stop being a cry-baby and reinstate Kevin Keegan as Newcastle manager before you sell the club". Shepherd also told the Daily Mail: "What he paid for the club would not have bought half the stadium. He got a great deal and should stop whingeing.
