Sheikh Mansour to see Man City for first time

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan is set to attend his first Manchester City game since buying the club last year.

The sheikh, who has invested almost £300 million on new players and improvements to the infrastructure at Eastlands, is due to watch an under-strength City line up in a friendly against the United Arab Emirates national team in Abu Dhabi's Zayed Stadium on Nov 12.

Despite his huge financial injection into City, Sheikh Mansour has yet to travel to England to watch Mark Hughes's team.

But with Hughes set to fly out to Abu Dhabi next Monday with a squad of players made up of those not on international duty, plans are in place for Sheikh Mansour to watch City in action for the first time.
