Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini knows he has the full support of the club's owner over his bust-up with Carlos Tevez.
Tevez has been fined four weeks' wages - around £800,000 - for his strop in Munich, it was announced by City last night.
The Daily Mail says the decision represents a show of total support for Mancini, who insisted that Tevez was 'finished' at the club following the controversy in Munich.
Mancini was assured he has the club's full backing in a telephone call from chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak. Al Mubarak told him that City owner Sheik Mansour feels betrayed by Tevez's conduct, having handed the former Manchester United striker a £198,000-a-week contract when he made a controversial move to City in July 2009.
