Representatives of Sheikh Emir Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi have confirmed plans to buy out Real Betis.

Israel Gutierrez de Alba, who is representing the Sheikh in negotiations with Betis supremo Manuel Ruiz de Lopera, said: "I know the fans of Real Betis are very expectant and eager to find out if His Highness will purchase the shares of FARUSA.

"I know that he is very interested in buying them and his representatives are working on the operation.

"I ask for calm from fans as such an important operation cannot be done in a few days. There remains a number of meetings to close a final agreement. If everything goes normally, within time the operation will become a reality."
