Sheffield Wednesday turn to ex-Liverpool coach Marsh after Cooper snub

Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper has rejected an approach from Sheffield Wednesday.

Cooper has turned down the chance to become new head coach of Sheffield Wednesday.

The 46-year old Swindon manager was "flattered by the approach" but ultimately has decided to continue at League One Swindon and finish the project he took on, says the Daily Mail.

Wednesday are now considering former Liverpool coach Mike Marsh for a role as assistant to new boss Carlos Carvalhal.
