Sheffield Wednesday striker Matty Fryatt is reluctant to return to parent club Hull City.
Tigers boss Steve Bruce claims the door has not been closed on Fryatt at the KC Stadium, but the former Walsall and Leicester City frontman is not convinced.
"What, the exit door?" he said.
"I missed the whole of last year. I need games. I came to Sheffield Wednesday and played games and scored a couple of goals.
"I've felt with each game stronger and stronger. I've been able to get myself in some goalscoring positions and really enjoyed it.
"If I go back to Hull, I'll probably be training again and not playing. That's not going to benefit me.
"You need to be playing. You can do everything in training but it's not the same as a game. It's completely different."
