Sheffield Wednesday have snapped up Sunderland goalkeeper Keiren Westwood.
The Sunderland Echo says Westwood penned a two-year deal at Hillsborough after the Owls beat off competition from Blackburn and Brighton for the Republic of Ireland international.
The 29-year-old left the Stadium of Light at the end of last season after a luckless three-year spell on Wearside which saw injury, illness and the form of Simon Mignolet and Vito Mannone restrict him to just 18 Premier League starts.
