Sheffield Wednesday are set to land Stoke City midfielder Tom Soares.

The Mirror says Soares is likely join the Owls for two months after struggling to force his way into the Potters first team.

Soares has appeared in three Carling Cup games but is yet to make an appearance in the Premier League this season.

And the former Crystal Palace star is now expected to make his Hillsborough debut against promotion chasers West Brom this weekend.
