Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood is resisting a move to Liverpool.
The Mirror says Kop boss Brendan Rodgers wants to strengthen his goalkeeping options and is planning a £2million bid for the Owls' shot-stopper in this month's transfer window.
But Westwood, 30, has pledged to repay the faith Wednesday showed by bringing him to Hillsborough last summer by staying loyal to the Championship outfit.
Westwood was linked with a move to be Joe Hart's understudy at his first club Manchester City but instead moved to Hillsborough as he wanted to be first choice following a frustrating spell at Sunderland.
