Sheffield Wednesday keen to keep Hull striker Fryatt

Sheffield Wednesday are keen to hold onto Hull City striker Matty Fryatt.

Fryatt opened his account for the Owls with a goal at Brighton and is set to play away at Bolton and Barnsley following the international break.

Midfielder Giles Coke told the Sheffield Star: "He is a proven goalscorer. It is only going to help the team having someone of his calibre here. We are really glad that we have got him and hopefully we can start providing more chances for him. We would love to have him here longer. It is down to the gaffer so we will wait and see what happens."
