Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones hopes to keep hold of Hull City striker Matty Fryatt.
Fryatt's loan is set to end this weekend.
"I think a fit and sharp Matty with more games under his belt would probably have put away more of the chances he's had. He's getting there. It's just that final touch now," Jones told The Sheffield Telegraph. "But he's still looked bright and sharp. He's ok now and has trained hard.
"I'd like to keep him. We want to keep all good players. It's important."
