Sheffield Wednesday have failed with a bid for Motherwell defender Mark Reynolds.
BBC Sport says Motherwell have rejected a £100,000 offer from Sheffield Wednesday for Reynolds.
Wednesday boss Alan Irvine has shown interest before in the defender, who is out of contract in June.
In 2008, the Lanarkshire club refused £750,000 from Rangers for the 23-year-old who has been capped at B international level for Scotland.
