Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws has rubbished reports that Manchester City are in the market for England U21 keeper Lee Grant. A figure of £1.5m had been mentioned but Laws has told the Sheffield Star that the reports are wide of the mark.

"This is a load of rubbish," he insisted. "Lee has just signed a new contract. He is settled, and we have said many times he is not for sale. Manchester City have not made any contact with us."
