Sheffield Wednesday are eyeing QPR midfielder Joey Barton.

The People says Wednesday boss Dave Jones has joined the race to take QPR bad-boy Barton on loan.

Blackburn Rovers are also in contact with the Rs about a temporary deal for the midfielder.
