Sheffield Wednesday are closing in on Sunderland striker Conor Wickham.
The Sunday Sun says a number of Championship sides have shown interest in Wickham, including Wolves and his former employers Ipswich, but Wednesday are winning the race.
Whoever Wickham joins, Sunderland will still have to contribute towards his wages, which are beyond the reach of most Championship sides.
