Cardiff City fullback John Brayford is a target for Sheffield United.

The Mirror says Brayford is ready to join up with old boss Nigel Cough at Sheffield United.

Brayford made his name at Derby under Clough before moving to the Bluebirds in the summer in a £2million deal. However, he played just twice under then-manager Malky Mackay and has now been told he can go by the Scot's replacement Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
