Sheffield United have snapped up Sunderland defender John Egan.
Egan has joined Npower League One side Sheffield United on a month-long loan deal.
The Cork-born Republic of Ireland under-19 international, who has captained Sunderland's reserve team this season has also spent a month on loan with Npower Championship side Crystal Palace.
