Sheffield United have dropped interest in West Bromwich Albion striker Ishmael Miller.
The People says Gary Speed will be given no money to try to pull Sheffield United away from the Championship trapdoor.
The Blades boss was told he cannot sign West Brom striker Ishmael Miller on loan because of his £13,000-a-week wages and has to make do with his present squad.
