Sheffield Utd to hand Wolves, Birmingham target Kilgallon new deal

Sheffield United hope to keep Matthew Kilgallon with the offer of a new contract.

The Daily Express says Kilgallon, who is rated as one of the best outside the Premier League, is attracting interest from Wolves, Birmingham and Burnley.

The Blades are bracing themselves for an offer of up to £4 million from one of the trio and chairman Kevin McCabe is willing to make him one of the highest-paid players at Bramall Lane.
