Sheffield United have decided on David Weir as new manager .
The Sun says the Everton coach persuaded Blades owner Kevin McCabe he is the man for the job in two hours of talks and will be unveiled in the next 48 hours.
Weir, 43, reserve-team coach at Everton, beat caretaker-manager Chris Morgan to the post.
