Sheffield United are chasing Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood.
The Sunday Mercury says Harewood, 29, has just returned to Villa Park after a loan spell at Wolves.
He joined Villa from West Ham for £4 million in the summer of 2007 but has failed to make an impact.
