Sheffield Utd chasing Stoke midfielder Tonge

Sheffield United boss Gary Speed is moving for Stoke City midfielder Michael Tonge.

Tonge, 27, joined Stoke from Sheffield United two years ago but has started only one Premier League match in that time.

Tonge would relish the chance to return to his old club and revive his career after being confined to the bench at the Britannia Stadium.
