Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder says David Brooks was wrong to move to Bournemouth.
Wilder advised the Wales international to stay put “for another 12 months" when the Premier League club made an offer for his services.
He said: “Personally, I thought Brooksy would have been better off remaining here with us for another 12 months. But agents own players these days don't they.
“I like the lad and I've got a good relationship with him. I genuinely wish him all the best.
“I can understand why he wants to look after himself and his family. Honestly I do.
“But I also thought he could do that by staying with us for another season and developing from there."
