Sheffield United boss Bryan Robson won't give up on signing Bolton Wanderers veteran Gary Speed in a three-month loan deal.

Robson has twice made attempts to take Bolton players to Bramall Lane this season, but although a deal was struck with the club on both occasions, Ivan Campo and Stelios both decided against the move.

Robson said: "You can ask me about names, but I am not saying anything before a deal is completed. The fans will be the first to know."
