Sheffield United will welcome two young footballers from Vietnam to their Academy as part of a prize for a reality television programme. The pair were chosen from thousands of hopefuls in Vietnamese reality TV show, `Soccer Prince', produced in conjunction with the company behind the X-Factor.
One of the two boys invited to Bramall Lane will win a season-long training placement with the Blades' Academy. Another prize at stake for the programme's contestants is a genuine one-season training placement with Liverpool.
UK company Kickworldwide share joint ownership of the `Soccer Prince' format with FremantleMedia, who are famed for reality hits such as Idols, Got Talent, X-Factor and The Apprentice.
