Sheffield United have made contact with Motherwell regarding manager Stuart McCall.
SunSport suggests that the Blades have contacted the Steelmen in regards to gaining permission to talk to McCall about returning to Bramall Lane where he spent a few years as a player.
United are determined to replace Danny Wilson with McCall who only signed a two-year extension with the Well two months ago.
It is believed that McCall may return home from Motherwell's end-of-season trip to Spain later this week in order to speak to the Blades.
