Everton academy chief Kevin Sheedy says his players will learn from their FA Youth Cup defeat to Arsenal.
Many of Everton's players will get another shot at Youth Cup success next term and Sheedy remains confident his current crop possesses the talent to end the Club's 16-year wait to land England's most prestigious Under-18 trophy.
He told evertonfc.com: "They've seen now the quality of player you can find yourself up against in the latter stages of this competition and they'll learn lessons from that.
"It's up to the younger players who'll be eligible again next year to take this on and use this experience if, as we hope, we find ourselves in this position again next season."
