Newcastle legend Alan Shearer has taken aim at Liverpool's players after defeat to Swansea City.

Shearer says Liverpool must sort their attitude out for the lesser teams if they are to have title success.

“They've got an excellent record against their title rivals but they've been beaten by Bournemouth, Swansea and Burnley - which tells you there's an issue with attitude and application," Shearer told Match of the Day.

“You can't expect to win a game by turning up.

“It doesn't work like that in football, especially not in the Premier League."
