Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer believes the players are right behind manager Alan Pardew.

Shearer was impressed by the spirit shown for their 2-2 draw at Swansea City.

"I still think that the players are playing for him 'cos you don't go behind and come back twice as they did today and also against Hull. They're still fighting for him - it's just ability wise."
