With Newcastle just two points above the relegation zone, Toon legend Alan Shearer admits to concerns about the club's current plight. Shearer told the BBC's 'Match of the Day' programme: "It's very frustrating to see the goals they conceded, to see the players fighting amongst themselves. It's not looking good.
"They are out of the cup, the manager gets sent off in midweek, Nicky Butt gets sent off, they concede three goals, players want to leave.
"It's not a nice situation. I'm worried and I really don't think I'm the only one. I think there are 52,000 people worried as well at the current situation."
