Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer is disappointed by Alexis Sanchez's form at Manchester United.

Shearer says Sanchez looks like “the little boy lost" since joining Manchester United from Arsenal in January.

Off the back of United's Champions League exit at the hands of Sevilla this week, Shearer wrote in his column for Coral: “They signed Alexis Sanchez and it looks like they have got his twin brother.

“He looks like the little boy the lost. It is the coach's job to get the best out of the players.

"When you look at the players they had on the pitch against Sevilla, the likes of Lukaku, Sanchez and Rashford, they had enough quality on the pitch and they should have been able to get the win in front of their home supporters.

“United knew what they were getting when they signed Mourinho, a man who has an arrogance about him but delivers trophies."
