Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross says they must regroup after defeat to West Brom.
Shawcross wants Stoke to have the last laugh over West Brom by bouncing back from derby defeat to finish above them this season.
He told The Sentinel: "It would have (been great after all that to beat them) … it's a local rivalry. For the first six or seven years I've been here I don't think we lost against them but for the last couple we haven't done very well. It's something we can hopefully rectify next season – and before that we've got a lot of big games coming up and hopefully we can pick up some points.
"We can still finish above them. That's a massive aim to be the top Midlands team and get closer to Everton. We've got a lot of targets still that we can achieve."
