Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross hailed Lee Grant's performance for their draw at Manchester United.

The veteran goalkeeper was outstanding on the day.

Shawcross told The Sentinel: “It was another top performance from him and he's done well since he came into the team.

“(Goalkeeping coach) Andy Quy brought him in from Derby having known him since he was a kid and he rates him highly.

“We're delighted to have him and delighted he's putting in good performances."
