Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits Ryan Shawcross has had plenty of stick after becoming the first Stoke player to feature for England since Mark Chamberlain since 1984.
The Potters skipper came on as a 74th-minute sub in Sweden - and his team-mates have been trying to keep his feet on the ground.
Pulis said: "The lads were caning him about being too big-headed - it was just banter. Everyone at the club is proud to have broken the 28-year hoodoo."
