Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross is a chance of being fit for the weekend's clash with West Bromwich Albion.
?The Potters centre-back has been sidelined for the past six matches with an inflamed disc in his back but has worked with the squad this week and has been given hope of returning for the trip to The Hawthorns on Saturday.
?"Ryan trained and I suppose if I'm being honest he's working at about 70 per cent," said assistant manager Mark Bowen. "He did everything expected of him, but he's just getting through the session with one eye on thinking how he's going to feel in the morning.
?"Hopefully, he will turn up ready to go on Thursday and, if he does that, he's going to be in the frame to start Saturday."???
