Shaw injury hurts more than PSV defeat - Man Utd keeper De Gea

David De Gea suggests losing Luke Shaw for an expected lengthy absence if worse than Manchester United's defeat on Tuesday night.


The Red Devils lost 2-1 to PSV Eindhoven in their opening Champions League group stage match at the Philips Stadion but it was the double leg fracture sustained by talented left-back Shaw that was the real disappointment.

Shaw was cut down by a Hector Moreno challenge in the 15th minute, breaking both bones in his right leg, which will keep him out of action for as long as six months.
