Colorado Rapids players have been telling Omar Cummings for some time that his game is suited to English football.
With former Arsenal coach Gary Smith in charge and ex-Leicester City winger Steve Guppy also at the club, there's a big British influence at the MLS Cup champs.
Cummings is currently trialling with Aston Villa and his Rapids teammate Chris Sharpe told tribalfootball.com: "Omar is a very dynamic player. Lighting fast, with great feet in tight areas and has turned himself into a very clinical finisher - as he showed us in 2010.
"He causes all sorts of problems for defenders as he is a tireless worker off the ball, and the lads in the dressing room have been saying for a while that the English game would suit Omar to a tee, balls being played in off defenders, shoulders into channels, that's where Omar is at his best.
"I think he has the capabilities to be a Villa player, definitely. He has the pace to be in the Premier League, and like any player if he can make it if he believes in his abilities.
"He will cause defenders all kinds of problems at that level and make himself a real handful for other teams."
