Shani Tarashaj is set to remain with Everton for the second-half of the season.

Tarashaj linked up with the Everton squad for Ronald Koeman's first summer in charge but was sent out on a season long loan to Eintracht Frankfurt.

The midfielder has sustained a serious knee injury which required an operation.

Tarashaj has returned to Everton to undergo his rehabilitation and though a January loan move was discussed he looks set to remain at Goodison for the time being.
